I played Footloose last March doing the only reed book (Clarinet, Flute,
Tenor, Bari.....getting them all into my car was an adventure in istelf)
and if anyone has th chance to play it I highly recommend you do. The
only time I've ever had more fun doing a show was in my stintas the voice
of Audrey II in "little Shop of Horrors."
The parts are absolutely riddled with improv solos and the curtain call
has a scream chorus of "Let's Hear it for the Boy" that makes playing the
show worth every minute (including some REALLY boring parts.)
