Each year, the band at the high school where my grandsons attend, they have
one concert that is all "chamber music" where the students group together --
duets, trios, quartets, etc. -- and choose their music. The director, other
staff, and teachers work with the groups to get the parts ready. (My only
objection -- silent -- is that many of the groups pick music that is too
simple for them.) You might suggest it to your director.
