I have this problem sometimes, only in my right hand pinky (and I am
right-handed). It's never been a problem in a performance, but it's
definitely put a scare into me while I was preparing something. I don't
really have anything useful to add, but I don't think that it has anything
to do with your left hand being weaker. Good luck.
