Congratulations Leslie Schultz, the TV show that includes two clarinet
brands is indeed "Friends" although I did like William Semple's creativity.
The faculty WW Quintet was playing an educational outreach concert recently
and as I was doing my "introducing the clarinet" spiel, I asked who else
played clarinet (knowing that two of the teachers at the school, including
the music teacher were clarinetists). The overwhelming response back was
"Squidward". The rest of the quintet looked at me in great consternation,
but since I have small children, I could tell them all about Sponge Bob and
his friends.
