I have stepped in it once already today, but what do you mean by mouthpiece
pitch?

Have you seen references to A=440 or A=442 or something along that
line? In the US (and Canada as far as I know) most groups play with A=440,
but I don't think I have ever seen any choice in bass clarinet mouthpieces.
