Perhaps the Tellemann Sonata is too easy. I do like its, but if I can
sightread it without any rhythmic or note mistakes, then that means it has
to be too easy.

I did order the Weber Concertino, and I am going to pick it up tomorrow, but
seriously, that is probably the most overplayed song in West Virginia.

Now I'm back to square one because I don't want to play the Mozart Concerto
because I know that will be overplayed too.

For once my band director has some confidence in me. He told me today that
he had no doubt that I would make it. It makes me feel really bad to think
that I would not make it because my solo is at such an easy level. Today
marks exactly one month until the audition and I am sololess. Pathetic. I
honestly don't think I deserve to make it if I don't have a solo by now. I'm
going to try anyway.

-Rebecca, hoping I'm not stoned to death for lack of diffuculy and
preperation of a solo.
