I'm pretty sure that "prodigy" referred to Julian Bliss, who receives
extra attention (beyond what his skills deserve) because of his young
age. That is, it's difficult for a program committee to ignore the
youth factor when choosing performers --- which I agree **is** a
disservice to the music of mature performers sometimes.
