The confusing thing is that there are TWO types of Selmer Omega clarinets.
The Selmer USA Omega models (available in two different bore sizes) are the
top of Selmer's intermediate line. They are identifiable by the
laser-engraved bell and keywork identical to other Selmer USA models. The
Selmer Omega Paris models are at he bottom of the Selmer Paris line,
essentially identical to the Selmer Prologue II, which appears to be a
Series 10S II with a fixed thumbrest. It could thus be considered a
professional instrument. Prices on either of those models are pretty good,
but they are not available from all dealers.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
