Gary, I'm also ADD treated at the age of 41 (two years ago) after one
of my kids was diagnosed and I saw how well medication worked for her
(she's also a "poster child" for Ritalin). I also had an undiagnosed
mood disorder though and that's the reason I didn't continue with music
back in college and I should have. However, the inability to focus well
probably caused quite a lot of anguish and stress for me at that time.
I ended up with a social work degree. I'm now very happy and back into
the music world (my home). There is always hope for anyone with
problems like this. Christy Erickson
