At our store, the charge is $14.00 per 1/2-hour lesson.

I don't know, but $3.00 of the lesson fee goes to the store for studio rent.

Officially, the policy is that you pay for the lesson whether or not you
actually show up (pay a month in advance). It is AMAZING how much time
teachers are forced to waste when students skip lessons. Sometimes they
call in cancellations, but if it is one 1/2-hour gap between two other
lessons, you can't do much, except maybe practice (studio rent is not
charged for cancellations, but the room IS available, since it was
scheduled). Rescheduling is allowed within the teacher's ability to work
out an alternate time.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
