I charge $30/hour for private lessons. Many of my younger students study
by the half-hour at $15/half hour. I charge by the month, which is
usually 4 half-hour sessions for $60/month, and tuition is due on the
first lesson of the month. If they are "absent" for the first lesson,
they still owe the full amount. I teach 3 days a week at a local music
store, Graner Music, and one day a week at my home.
I charge $75/month for going to one student's house. I go twice a
month for an hour each time and charge an extra $15 for the gas and
extra time. ANNIE (the grandma who sometimes plays at the OLDTOWNE
TAVERN: a biker establishmet and the TOWNHOUSE LOUNGE in MANITOU: a
neighborhood bar). I am moving up in the world. I now perform at MYRNA'S
COFFEE SHOP: a non-smoking, non-drinking establishment, every Friday.
