Thanks for the subject. Due the temperature problems that can occur in
the hold of an airplane my clarinet is always a 'carry-on'. I never
think about it until I need it, but my instrument case, in addition to
the clarinets, has a glass plate, 600 grit wet-or-dry and a very sharp 4
inch bladed fishing knife (my reed knife). I'll bet others carry one
also. Thanks for the reminder. Next trip the knife goes in the
suitcase.
