His address is eeban@-----.edu

If I can offer a suggestion, Eli has always been very cool to those who
tell him what a remarkable man his father was. It is something he has
heard his whole life, and I think he is uncomfortable with the subject
when it arises. So if you are going to be effusive about his father and
his father's accomplishment, it will turn him off fast.

I always make reference to the relationship of a father to a son, and do
not dwell on his father's accomplishments, mighty though they may be.
My note to him was simply an express of condolence as I would have
written one to anyone who lost a parent. I spoke about how, in the
future, he would see his father's face in the face of strangers, but
that is something that I would tell anyone. In effect, in my notes to
him, he has no way of knowing that I know anything at all about his
father or his accomplishments.
