I used to sell 'styrofoam' flotation logs. There are two types of foam
which are both sometimes called "styrofoam". At one time, 'styrofoam'
was Dow's copyrighted trade name. It may still be. Anyway, one of
the 'styrofoams' is an inferior flotation material, for the same reason
that 'styrofoam' coffee cups start to leak after a few hours.
