Patricia -

My, my my. In your opinion it would be perfectly proper for me to grossly
insult the British, French, German, Dutch, Belgian, Italian, Greek, Scotch,
Irish on and on ad infinitum. If it is alright for Tony Pay to use this
List to hatefully insult America and all Americans, then by your statement,
we are all free to insult any nationality (or ethnic group) that we wish.
??????

I know that Tony has apologized for his gross bad manners, but if his
original remark was supposed to be in humor, then it certainly missed my
English, Irish and Scotch senses of humor.

I was really quite surprised that the Americans on the List, for the most
part, were not offended by Tony Pay's gratuitous insult of all of us. Or
maybe they were just considering the source and ignoring Mr. Pay.

Regards,

Gene N.

I second you here, Annie. Reading Tony's comments in context, he was
not cussing AT anyone in particular, simply repeating a characterization
which included said expletives.

If you are concerned about the language coming up in your e-mail or on
the web, you can always utilize some sort of screening program. Once my
children are on the internet, I will be getting either Net Nanny or some
other program to keep them away from the porno sites, etc. (until they
figure out how to hack it :-[ Hopefully they will have better things to
do, but one can never tell, despite doing one's level best) Also, on
the same note, a free utility to prevent pop-ups of all kinds, including
the dirty ones, is Pop-up Stopper, which is avavilable on the downloads
page at ZDnet :

and paste - I wasn't sure if a clickable link was permitted on the list)

I have heard a clip of this some time back - can some one post ordering
info or perhaps send to me in an e-mail? I'd appreciate it.
