Gary, just so you know, the above name never existed. I had a similar
name (but not identical) on a different ISP about a month ago.

Furthermore, the 'similar' name hasn't existed for approximately one
month for precisely the reason that you've posted. The "black box" for
my ISP (WebTV, now called MSNTV) doesn't include a disk drive. In
effect, everything is on MSNTV's disk drive --- saved messages, all
software, etc.

Thus I depend on MSNTV for all of my virus protection. Generally
speaking, they do a good job, but occasionally a virus or worm or
whatever slips through. The only way for me to recover from a
successful attack is to close my MSNTV account and start a new one ---
which I did (I was even spamming myself!!) about one month ago.
