Hi All,

Some of you may remember I asked a question a while back on whether oil
should be used with Buffet's GreenLine clarinets. Here's what Buffet's
techy people have to say on the matter. Hope this is of interest!-)

----------------------------------------------
It is not necessary to oil the bore of a green line clarinet however it can
be oiled as for a traditional wood clarinet, it can help to eliminate water.
Be very cautious when oiling we usually recommend to have it done by a
repairman too much oil would damage the pads.

The frequency is actually different according to people. When water starts
to accumulate in the pads it can help in eliminating the excess of water.
