I use a Pyne M, medium closed with Legere 3.5 reeds. There has never been
the slightest trouble with intonation. In fact, my only experience with
reed related intonation difficulties in 46 years of playing would be the
tendency of light reeds to be flat in the extreme register.

Guy Legere recently sent me some new, experimental reeds to evaluate. (They
were absolutely superb.) He included a questionaire with the reeds in which
he asked about intonation anomolies. I found the question odd since I've
never experienced much in the way of reed related intonation problems.
Obviously, Guy is aware of the problem and, presumably, working on it. Why
don't you ask Guy? His email is:info@-----.com
