Scan them and reduce the width only in any photo editing program, then when
you tape them together they will only hang out on a double stand, or better
after you have scanned them you can cut and past to a larger(high) sheet and
tape fewer sheets together. I'll bet that you and get the whole work on 5
sheets of 81/2 by 14 paper witch will easily fit on two stands wide.
