Any one interested though in a really good Humidifier should take a =
look at
the Slant/Fin GF-350 model with dual tanks.

I have this one and it does an excellent job and because of the way it =
is
made is also germ-free.

Another benefit is that you can use regular tap water in most =
situations and
save on having to use distilled or mineral free water in most other =
types of
units.

The climate here is about the same as Bridgeport, Conn in terms of
temperature:

Average monthly temperature (=B0F) Precipitation
Average Humidity (5 PM)

Jan. April July Oct. Average =
(in.)
39%
Denver 29.5 47.4 73.4 51.9 15.31
Bridgeport, Conn. 29.5 48.6 74.0 56.0 41.56
60%

The beauty of the Eastern side of the Front Range is that the range is =
quite
temperate, yet dry. While it rains 88 days out of each year, the days
generally start out sunny. The rain is usually brief and dispersed.

The effective humidity in Denver is distorted because most of the rain =
that
occurs in this regions FALL at 5:00 PM. So each day usually starts out =
well
below 30%.

Perhaps my apartment is "tight," but no condensation of any kind has =
ever
appeared.
