Dan,

You mentioned that you recently purchased one of Steven Fox's lovely basset
horns....
I sense that you favor the S. Fox instrument. I played his basset horns at
the New Orleans ClarFest and thought it was first rate. I almost placed an
order on the spot. I should have. hahahaha
Besides the good intonation you mention (I also thought the pitch was
superior to any basset that I had ever played).....what else makes you happy
about this clarinet?
