As a PS, There is a recording available of the Philadelphia Orchestra of the
Miaskowski symphony #21-"Eugene Ormandy Meastro Brilliante"(20th century
maesrtros-The International Music Company AG-Hamburg Ger.) - with Ralph
McLane playing the opening solo. On the third note "A" and leading into
it,you will hear a beautiful example of this subtle vibrato.
