Another possibility is to use denture pads. Cut what you need from the full
length pad, soften it in your hand or in your mouth (the binder is beeswax,
which softens at a relatively low temperature) and fold it over your teeth.
Re-use the piece until it doesn't seem good anymore (too thin, to faded, too
old). A box will last years.
