Glad to have been of assistance. Most of your questions provide food for =
thought, and/or get me to think about things that I haven't thought =
about for a while, which is good for both my students and their =
instructor. You've hit on what I think is an important point, which a =
lot of wanna-be composers never do, that is, (imho), the only thing that =
matters is the result. Not the theory, not the "rules", not the =
notation; the sonic result and its impact on listeners is what matters.

Good luck with your composition. Please let me know when it gets =
performed and about its availability.
