If it makes any difference, I asked this question because I was
listening to a composition of my own via Finale on my computer. A
certain phrase sounds best if played 'ff'. So I was wondering whether
I was asking my computer to do something that a clarinet normally isn't
asked to do. Obviously I'm not, and therefore I'm reassured.
