Well, I don't know that it's hierarchical. It begins somewhere, and
works towards workability. Perhaps changing even the first move would
alter the end result.
Of course, it was a bit of a parody. But it captures something of the
truth.
Different expert players adopt different solutions, but the nature of
the process is essentially the same.
