How do you keep your Optimum ligature from slipping off when you switch Bb
to A (and vice versa)?? I have been using this ligature and really like it,
but cannot figure out a way to keep it from slipping when switching
clarinets!

I have a thin piece of clear tape that adds friction on the back of the
mouthpiece, which helps with other ligatures, but doesn't seem to help with
the Optimum. I have tried modifying my grip every way I can manage, but
still it slips. I searched the list archives a couple of months ago and
didn't find any helpful comments even though several people brought up this
problem, so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. (Right
now, I use a different ligature for orchestral playing and other times I
have to switch but don't have time to reposition reed and ligature.)

Thanks!!
