I assume its a wood clarinet. LOL!.

It depends on what the "stock bore oil" is. If it's petroleum based, a lot of people say don't bother, as the wood will not absorb it.

I have had good success with various organic oils. Right now, as I said, I use Almond Oil. Haven't really tried Linseed oil, so I can't say.
