means that it's difficult to put your responses into the context in

(Of course, it's the default in the crap software you use, for the
unreasonable dominance of which we have to thank Kevin Fay, Micro$oft

But to continue: well, perhaps you're right. But that would mean that
the gender reference of:

"Hey, guys," is different from:

"Guys, I want to...."

...which is different from:

"You guys! I want to...."

Really?
