Mozart: Clarinet Quintet K.V. 581

Mozart's clarinet quintet was written during a busy and difficult time for
the composer, for his friend and fellow mason, the clarinettist Anton
Stadler. Chris de Souza finds Mozart testing tradition in the work, with
music examples performed by Robert Plane (clarinet) and the Emperor Quartet.

As a clarinet beginner, and a lover of Mozart I found the programme
interesting and informative.
