The warping problem is very common with reeds in plastic, metal or glass
i.e. flat surfaces. As Karl said use a case which lets air onto both
sides of the reed, for instance Vito plastic with slots (cheap),
Vandoren cases with slots and carbon moisture stabilizers or Oleg
riffled glass (expensive). Or let the reed dry out thoroughly before
putting it into the case. I've had much success with Vito cases with my
students over the years. (No affiliations!) Also cardboard reed holders
are not too bad.
