Hi Matthias,
if you're searching for musical scores, go to "La Flute de Pan", Rue de
Rome (M° Europe). If you want cds, scores, reeds or mouthpieces for
clarinet and sax, go to "Vandoren" Rue Lepic, (M° Pigalle). If you want
instruments, there's a lot of shops (Rue de Rome for example), but it's
better to visit directly "Buffet-Crampon" or "Selmer" (for clarinets,
bassoons, and sax. , at Mantes la Jolie), or Rigoutat and Marigaux for
the oboe. Two very good specialists for the clarinet (repair, ...) are
Cyril Mercadier (Rue de Moscou, M° Rome), and Franck Denize at "Olifant"
(M°Gare de Lyon, near Opera-Bastille).
Enjoy your stay! Jean-Francois Verdier (Paris)
