Donald Martino's B.A.B.B.I.T.T for solo clarinet has the advantage if
played on C that you don't need to transpose (score in C so the jokes
come out in concert pitch). It has the disadvantage that you'll have
to come up with your own dimensions for the extensions you add to the
clarinet at different times to play the very very low notes.

As an instrument maker you might get a special kick out of building
them.
