I agree! Advanced high school players, and the audience, will love it. Be
sure to read -- and explain -- the composition/performance notes to the band.
Today's teenagers might not be familiar with Wayne Newton (argh), I would
also suggest checking out compositions by:

Eric Whitacre
Donald Grantham (clarinet parts from Hell!)
Ron Nelson
Karel Husa
David Maslanka

I also seem to remember Roger Garrett at Illinois Wesleyan University listing
his "favorite" wind band compositions some years ago. You might want to
search the KLARINET archives.
