Assistant Professor (Artist/Teacher of Clarinet) at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee; full time nine month appointment, tenure track.
Teach undergraduate and graduate studio clarinet; maintain an active
professional career as artist/teacher; teach classes in area of
specialty (chamber music, class clarinet); participate in full range of
faculty governance activities within the University and Department.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have documented record of clarinet performances at the
professional and college level. A Doctorate in Music or equivalent
professional experience required.

Send letter of application with resume, vita and recent tapes or CDs of
performances (not to exceed 30-40 minutes in length). Three letters of
recommendation should be sent directly from placement bureau or other
sources.

Screening will begin on November 15, 2002.

Applications will continue to be accepted until a qualified candidate is
selected.
