Dear Anne and All -

My recollection from a combined band program in 1945 Peoria County,
Illinois, is that the title is "Funeral March of the Marionettes", or
"Funeral March for a Marionette" or something like that. And this was a
"few" years before the "Alfred Hitchcock Show". Does this jibe with anyone
else's memory?

Regards,

Gene N.

Dear Albert,
I refer to many pieces in my repertiore as "toons". Sorry if that
offends you. I don't know if the Dance of the Marionettes used to be
called "Pavane" or not. Ask Tony Pay or Dan Leeson. They will know the
answer. I only know that my arrangement sounds great for Halloween.
