I can't recall everything I have said on this list, but I may have said at
some point that I HATE MARCHING BAND!!!! After reading Bill's posting, I got
to thinking. I do not hate marching band. I've been misusing my words. What
I really mean by saying "I hate marching band" is that I hate marching in
the marching band. Marching band competitions have always been something
I've looked forward to in marching season. I really like to watch the OTHER
bands, and there are some very good performances. I just don't like to
perform in them myself. It could be because I am an the wrong end of the
band. I really don't like marching around with an instrument nearly the size
of me! There are many reasons why I don't like marching, but I'm not getting
into them now. It's too early in the morning!
