I do play bari sax in the jazz band, well what we have of one, but I did
this to gain experience on another instrument. Not to totally switch off of
clarinet! I tried talking to him, but there is no talking to him! I did
think contra alto clarinet was a solution. I just thought of that a minute
ago. The reason I have to play it is because we have very few people on the
bass line. I think it is wrong, but I don't know what to do about it. I
really don't want this. I want to play clarinet! I could understand if
clarinet was my secondary instrument, but it is my main instrument. That is
what I love to do, and that is what I am there to do. I just thought playing
sax in jazz band would be a fun and new experience.
