Just for fun, I created an Amazon list of my picks of favorite clarinet
CD's. They are also accompanied by commentary, which you should take with
a grain of salt. My comments on "dark tone" and etc., are subject to much
list debate! Some of the clarinetists represented are Marcellus, Neidich,
Meyer (both of them), Manasse, Cohler, Drucker, Cohen, Stoltzman, Wright,
Shifrin. There are 24 entries, but if you'll email me privately I'll tell
you my 6 favorites.
