Anyone who deletes a Windows system file solely on the advice of a bulk e-mail
written by someone they do not know deserves what they get. If I left you an
anonymous telephone call telling you that your spark plug wires were emitting
phased bogons that were poisoning your children and causing your hair to fall
out, would you go out to your garage and yank them out? The situation is
identical.

Trust your up-to-date virus scanner. That is its job.

Another excellent bit of free Internet advice: Any time you get an e-mail that
tells you to "send this to everyone you know", delete it. It will either be a
hoax or an advertisement. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
