I had originally posted the thought as one example of how a mouthpiece
changes. I was not attempting to be complete. I also don't want to sound as
if I am speaking for Matson, just offering a little tidbit of his wisdom.

Certainly, there are many aspects to making a mouthpiece work and each of
the dimensions need to work in conjunction with the others. By changing any
one thing it may be necessary to change many others to (hopefully) bring a
mouthpiece to playability. Thanks Walter for expanding on the thought and
for going further in depth on the topic.
