Kimber,

I played in the All Northwest band in 1999 and 2001. It was a wonderful
experience, and I hope you get in. Unless things have drastically changed
in the two years since I last auditioned, all of the audition material
comes out of the Rubank Advanced (level 1, or 2, I don't remember)
book. You are not required to play a solo.
When you get the music (get it soon, it will take some work), be sure to
practice it with a metronome. My band director judged some of the trumpet
tapes in 2001, and the main issue besides tone quality, was unsteady
tempo. Also, be sure to allow a couple of hours to tape. You will want to
play each piece several times so you can pick the best one.
Good luck with your material! Feel free to email me personally if you have
any questions about anything.

Robyn
