Joe--

If you did your "homework," you would know that Marcellus, Leister,
Kloecker, Cohen and Manasse are all masters of the clarinet, and NOT
mouthpieces.

That having been said, please check the Klarinet Archives as this topic has
been discussed on numerous occasions.

Subject: [kl] mouthpiece question for pros

Dear list,

I currently play on a Vandoren M13 and M13lyre,
sometimes an M14. I've tried almost all makes and find
myself going back to Vandoren. The closer facings seem
to give me what I want in the way of sound. I wonder
though if something else is out there that I've
missed. I shoot for a focused "dark" sound - if I'm
allowed to use that word here! :) I love the sounds
of Marcellus, Leister, Klocker, Cohen, Manasse...
Does any professional player have opinions on them?
Are they good mouthpieces suitable for the most
discerning player? Does anyone out there use them in a
major orchestra?

Thanks a bunch
