Another option would be to send your mouthpiece to a mouthpiece technician for a "tune-up". Sometimes a well used mouthpiece just needs the facing renewed.

I can't speak for Roger Garrett, but I know he has done excellent work re-facing mouthpieces. Emil Anello in Wisconsin might be another choice. Also, (***tooting my own horn***) I have had some success re-facing a mouthpiece which needed some work.

Just another choice.
