Joe, I doubt that there's a reasonable way to answer your question ---
but look at the logic of how you asked it:

How can anyone, professional or not, discuss "something else out there"
if you don't list the mouthpieces that you've tried already?

(There are 100's of them on the market, many listed in the catalogs of
Woodwind & Brasswind, Int'l Music, Muncy, and so forth. How many have
you actually tried?)

The bottom line is that your mind and your body are effectively part of
the acoustic apparatus. Since they interact with the instrument (with
all of it, not just with the mouthpiece), what worked for Marcellus,
Leister, etc may (probably will) be unsatisfactory for you.

Don't forget that probably you haven't heard Marcellus, Leister, etc
live. How much of what you have heard was an artifact of earlier
recording technology?
