I would also imagine that trying to describe the sound that one brand =

vs. another brand would be risking it as well.
So I guess trying to say that Alpines plays darker than say Clarions =

Anything car would be pretty low on the list... There are just too =
many
problems inherent in the fact that it has to work under extreme =
conditions.
A more valid question would be in the home/pro environment. Most of =
the
"Audiophile" brands are pretty good. The lower-end consumer stuff is =
often
questionable.
That being said, there is a lot of variation from brand to brand and =
model
to model so it is difficult to make any meaningful generalization.
