Ok, I'll walk out on a limb here. At my request, Bear sent me a good stack
of his music for combinations of different wind instruments. His "Flitter
Critters" was a big hit at a family reunion, where we transposed parts for
instruments not intended to be used. I'll admit that it was a little too
difficult for some of my family members and it got butchered in the process,
but it was great fun and it gave them a look at what is currently being
written. They were surprised at an old format in a modern setting.

My wind trio is currently working on his "Trio". We are enjoying the
opportunity to play something "out of the norm" that is musically
interesting. If and when we get it under our fingers, we'll program it. As
far as I'm concerned, Bear can post to me anytime he has something new to
offer. I like the challenge his music presents. It isn't every day that
you find yourself in a position to play music "hot off the press".
