I can imagine that it's a legal quagmire from the publisher's point of
view, but let me ask the question from the customer's point of view:

Why would I, as a customer, decide to pay $440 rather than $245? What
does the $440 edition have that would attract me sufficiently for Kalmus
to market it at such a price?
