In case any of you are interested in woodwind quintets, I thought I'd tell
you about the website for my quintet, the Powers Woodwind Quintet. My wife
(flutist Joanna Cowan White) created the web page last semester while on
sabbatical. She also created a large, comprehensive database of quintet
music and recordings. Various reports from the database are available on
the Powers Woodwind Quintet site. You can find lists of quintets by
composer, level, time period, nationality of composer, etc. (And lists of
standard quintets, arranged quintets and selected quintets with other
instruments/voice). The database includes listings for more than 500
quintets ranging from easy to very difficult.

The website also includes information about quintet books, dissertations,
web links, and more, and information about student quintet music from
bassooninst MaryBeth Minnis.
