Okay. Now you're discussing truly personal decisions about your own
life, which is an area where strangers don't belong.

My only comment, given from the perspective of a 60+ year old
grandparent, is:

What's your hurry? You haven't described a single advantage for
enlisting early, and you've given several reasons for not doing so.

Good luck, and definitely talk with your parents and school counselors
about it. They've lived longer and seen more outcomes than you have,
whereas recruiters are unquestionably "sales people" who have orders to
be so.
